What do you think about the critique-function if you have it? If you do - what is your experience of it? If you don't - do you wish you could use it? Have you written any critiques for other artists?

It is hard to get noticed and so far non of the pictures I've asked for critique for have received any. Is there anyone on my watch list - or elsewhere - that are up for it? I have the following pictures with the critique-function added and I'm really curious to know what works good with them and what needs to change. Do I need to add or remove anything? These two are complete pictures;

and these three are more like sketches and maybe they need to be viewed in a different light because of that:

I would greatly appreciate any help I can get with this, and if you think I can help you out in turn by critiquing your work - please let me know and I'll do my very best to help you out!

All the best!

So. Blog. How does this work? Well, I guess I'll try and use this for my own notes about plans and stuff until I figure things out.

I started drawing again in January 2014 after YEARS away from art. To be honest, I don't even know if what I'm posting here is art or not. I have nursed a vague dream for years to do something more tangible with my ar- I can't even say it. With my drawing habit. That dream have grown and morphed and gained momentum since I started again and even if the dream isn't all that clear, it grows louder and stronger. I feel that I need to focus on something, on some area. I love graphite, and photo-realistic work, but I also love colored pencils and watercolor. I don't have a style, I'm all over the place with materials and subjects. Is this good or bad or both? Should I focus?

I don't have any art friends offline, so I have no one to talk to about choices, mindset, improvement or techniques. It is social suicide to ask for friends, but I'd love to have someone to discuss these things with. A mentor would be gold, but someone to walk beside would be just as precious.
